Maybe I am just getting old but I can't really drink bad beer anymore. I also have a hard time taking shots nowadays. I remember back in Undergrad we used to drink Natural Light all night and then wake up to luke warm half empty cans in the morning. There was something kind of liberating about it. Knowing that you could drink 24 cans of that swill and still only pay $8 (or less than i spend on 2 good beers out at a bar) meant that you never had to worry about your wallet when you were drinking; only your dignity.

We would drink mostly Natty Light while shotgunning or playing beer pong but we would also drink Beast (Milwaukee's Best, the beer that tastes like you threw an old Bicycle in a vat of water then pissed in it) or Keystone Light if we were lucky. Now I start to gag thinking about any of them.
Sometimes (I am convinced it was to punish ourselves) we would make a drink that still gives me nightmares. It equal parts Korski (low grade Vodka), Lady Bleigh (low grad Rum), Natty Light and Coke. It was awful. We called it the Reginald Vel Johnson.
